Linda McKee Matchplay Wrap Up

The final round of the Linda McKee Handicap Matchplay event was played on Saturday in tough conditions.  This event began in March with a sixteen player draw and the majority of matches were closely contested in all rounds. 

This year’s final was played between Margaret Murphy and Sue Wilson. Sue won her fourth round match on the 19^th and Margaret won her match on the 18^th.  Margaret Murphy was victorious 5/4. 

Well done to both players and a big thank you to Karen Waterson for refereeing and to the caddies Val Trotter and Roger Wilson.
