New Website Launch

Published on 12th May 2017 in Past News Story

The Flinders Golf Club’s Committee is pleased to announce the launch of a new club website.

This new website will showcase a series of new photographs of the course by local photographer Will Salter, as well as new drone photography and video of each individual hole. The new site will be much more accessible for smart phones and tablet devices, such as I Pads and become a key tool in our marketing to potential new members and green fee players. The site will also allow us to provide a better platform for communication with members.

The current “Go Live” date is scheduled for the week beginning Monday 16th May, 2017. Members will use the same username and password to access the site and the golf timesheet functions will remain the same. We anticipate some minor disruptions to the site while the transfer occurs.

Once the club’s website has been updated, some members may experience difficulties in being logged out when clicking on links and/or pages not loading.

Clearing your history and cache regularly will generally enhance web browsing. Devices or browsers not listed above can open a search page and type: eg clear cache for android.

If still having difficulties we recommend trying to open a page using an alternative browser.

Coinciding with the launch of the upgrade to the website, will be the launch of a refreshed club logo. Designed by member, Warwick Cruise, the refreshed device draws on the traditions of previous logo’s, the history of the club and its coastal location and pulls this together in a new and contemporary format.

After many months of hard work behind the scenes, we are very excited to unveil the new website and hope that members and visitors will like the refreshed look and improved functionality.

Your internet browser’s cache stores various information from webpages you visit. Occasionally, the cache can prevent you from seeing updated content, or cause functional problems. Luckily, you can fix many browser problems by simply clearing your cache and
