Women’s 2017 Club Championship

The conditions were fine and sunny for the second round of stroke, this round certainly spread the field out. The two rounds of stroke determines the matchplay draw and also two trophies are decided. The Bowie trophy which is awarded to the best gross score of the 2 stroke rounds. This was won by Sue Cutten with an excellent total of 160. The Captain’s trophy( best 2 rounds nett score total) is also decided and was awarded to Kate Fletcher with a nett total of 145. The championship now moves to matchplay and this year both A & B grade are going straight to semi finials this coming Saturday.

A Grade
1. S Cutten v 4. M Hosking
2. H Cameron v 3. K Fletcher
B Grade
1. S Wongsaenchai v 4. T Best
2. K Horan v 3. S Middleton-Smart.
A reminder that the Women’s Final for A & B Grade will be played on Sunday 28th May. Tee off times A Grade 9.58am and B Grade 10.06am. It would be great to see lots of members out supporting this great event next weekend.
