VALE: Myra Balloch
Published on 27th October 2017 in Past News StoryIt is with great sadness that that we inform you that one of our former members Myra Balloch passed away last week.
Myra Balloch, was a member of the club for more that 35 years, and was our Ladies’ Club Champion 3 times, in 1981, 1985 and 1987.
The Balloch family are a great Flinders family, in addition to her golf prowess, and achievements, Myra’s sons Brett & Scott were also regular winners of club events over the years, Brett was Club Champion on 4 occasions, also a Men’s Open winner and Scott a Summer Open winner. The Balloch family name features on many of our honour boards and trophies.
On behalf of our Committee, members & staff members, we pass on our condolences to the Balloch family.
The family wishes to extend an invite to anyone wishing to pay their respects. Myra’s funeral will be held at 10am on Tuesday 31/10/2017 at Tobin Brothers, 39 A Boneo Rd, Rosebud
