Course Works This Week

Published on 9th December 2017 in Course News

Colin and his team, along with some welcome help from Dad’s army, have been busy this week completing a couple of projects on the 6th fairway and the 16th green.

Firstly,  the 16th green was renovated – a process that was similar to the one undertaken on the third green in February.  Pleasingly the process only took two days, and the green has remained in play.

Secondly, a section of Diamond Grid matting was installed to the 6th path.  This product is designed to help retain the structure of the path, and assist in eliminating wash off and erosion in this area.

Pictured in the click through gallery below are some shots of both of these projects – namely, the 16th green renovation post coring, and again post sanding; then the preparation of the path, followed by the laying of the diamond grid product.  Simply click on one of the images to enlarge it, which will then enable you to scroll through the gallery.
