Can You Help?

We are very fortunate at The Flinders Golf Club to have a fantastic group of volunteers who regularly give their time to help out around the course, clubhouse and buildings. Their efforts not only reduce costs to the club and members but play an integral part of our ongoing maintenance and overall course presentation. Their support is greatly appreciated by all members and visitors to our wonderful course.

Dad’s Army is led by Tim Dyer and John Montgomery and meet at the machinery shed on the 1st Wednesday of every month at 8:45am. There are many long term members in the group as well as some newcomers and we would welcome some more volunteers who feel they can spare some time to help out. Those interested are asked to please contact Tim Dyer.

Do you have a green thumb or like gardening? Why not join our enthusiastic and passionate group of Green Girls. They’d also love to see some new faces, so if you can spare a few hours, please meet at the Pro Shop at 10:00am on the first Wednesday of each month, followed by a BBQ lunch with the Dad’s Army from 12:00pm.  Bring your secateurs, weeders and gloves! Please contact Lorna Conboy for more information.
