The Flinders App

The Flinders Golf Club is delighted to announce the launch of our new Smartphone App. The App is now available for download from the iTunes (IOS) or Google Play (Android) App store.

To download simple search for “Flinders Golf Club” or if you are reading this notification from your mobile device, you can click on the following link to view our Mobile App launch page, which contains direct links to each store.

Along with a fully integrated members area, the Mobile App includes some exciting new features:

Members Login / Log Out:

The App will default to the public view. To log into the members area on the App, use the same login details (membership number / password) as you currently do to access the club’s website. Once you are logged in, you will not need to re-enter you details, unless you log out.

Notifications:

We can now send urgent or last minute reminders directly to your phone. A perfect way to communicate weather updates, event changes and reminders. Make sure you allow notifications in your settings.

Members Card:

The new members card icon allows you to scan your unique QR code direct from your phone at the Bar. Members now receive a discount on both food and beverages. So make sure you scan your card or QR code for every purchase.

You can also use the Member Card icon as a substitute to a letter of introduction at many clubs. Don’t forget to upload a photo!

Members Directory:

Find contact details for your fellow members in one easy location. Make sure you keep your information up to date in the “My Information” section on the website.

Report a Problem:

See something on course that needs our attention? Simply upload a photo and we’ll receive the details by email.

Snap it:

Imagery and videos play a import part of our marketing and social media strategy. So why not take a few photos while your out on course and send them through. We’d love to showcase them on our media platforms. Selfies welcome!

QR Scanner:

Keep an eye out for QR codes on our upcoming advertising and marketing. Your inbuilt QR scanner will quickly direct you to the information or booking sheet you need. Some QR codes also have some great upcoming offers and discounts.

Member Info:

A one stop shop for all your membership information. All functionality within the member’s area including My Bookings, Make a Booking, Leaderboards and Member Directory is provided in a mobile-friendly format for ease of use.

The above highlighted icons are just a few new features in the Flinders App. This new platform provides an important part of the club’s marketing and communications strategy and we would strongly encourage all members and visitors to download the App to their mobile devices.

Over the next few months we will be adding many more interactive features to the App, which will be communicated to members as they are released.
