AFL Grand Final Golf & Lunch

It was pleasing to see more than 80 members in attendance for our annual Grand Final Week Golf and Lunch event.
Pleasant conditions for the morning’s golf, with a bit of sun here and there which was appreciated by all.
The highlight of the day for many was the guest speaker, AFL Legend Gerard Healy, who was particularly well recieved. Such was the engagement of the crowd, that Gerard went over time, and there were plenty of questions from enthralled members after his talk. Many suggested that they had wished he could go on for longer!
A big thank you to Gerard for coming, and those behind the scenes who were able to organise such a well know speaker through their network of contacts – we eagerly await the next event where a speaker is required!
Following on from the guest speaker, our results were presented, and warm congratulations are offered to all of our winners.

There were also some hotly contested raffle prizes up for grabs that were no doubt well received by those lucky enouh to win! Thanks everyone for coming, and pencil the corresponding date in your diaries for 2020.
