The Golf Committee is pleased to announce to all Members, from Tuesday 19th May regular competition golf will return to the Flinders Golf Club.

The course remains open for social golf on Monday, Wednesday Friday and Sunday.   Members, guests and visitors will be permitted to play on these days.

Member only competition days will be held on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.  Entry into the competition on these days is mandatory.

All tee times are to be booked via the electronic booking sheet.  Pre printed score cards will be available for collection from the pro shop, competition entry fee will need to be paid with credit card tap, no cash transactions.  On completion of golf the completed score card should be deposited in the box provided.  Scores will be entered into the auto scoring system by the golf professional and results posted on the Club website.

Competitions will generally be a mixture of Stableford and Par. Our Posted Golf Syllabus will not be used until further notice. However our Golf Committee are discussing a return to our current syllabus and will keep Members posted.

Play will be from the plates nominated in the competition of the day.  Please use best practice to spread the wear on the teeing ground within the area of two club lengths behind the plates.

Competition scores will be submitted for handicapping purposes.

During this period there will be some temporary local rules in place. Please ensure you have read these prior to play. The Golf Committee has developed these rules under guidance from Golf Australia.

We are thrilled to have Members back playing golf at Flinders and trust you will continue to enjoy the competition during the current climate.

Yours Faithfully,

Dean Burrows
