This afternoon, Premier Daniel Andrews announced a state of disaster has been declared across Victoria, which will act in addition to the state of emergency. From 6:00pm tonight (Sunday 2nd August), Metropolitan Melbourne, including the Mornington Peninsula, will move to Stage 4 Restrictions. The Premier’s statement and a list of the new restrictions can be found by CLICKING HERE.

It is with regret, we information members and guests, that to comply with these restrictions, the Flinders Golf Club will close until further notice from 6:00pm tonight (Sunday 2nd August 2020).

We will continue to communicate with members and visitors, as further information is provided.

All public green fee players ,who have booked online, will be issued with a credit voucher and these will be sent via email, within the next 10-14 days.

We thank everyone for the patience during this difficult time.

Very disappointing but I fully support the Club’s decision to close the course… least some of you who live in Flinders can walk around the course and still enjoy the wonderful views. Just spare a thought for me as I slave away in my garden up here in Upwey (the “pearl of the east”), under the direction of SWMBO. I look forward to the day when I can once again walk the fairways of the best golf course in the world.
    Cheers and stay well
