Is the Club prepared for COVID?

The Club is required to have a COVID Safe Plan.  The plan is designed to allow the Club to safely reopen, maintain a COVID Safe workplace and prepare for a suspected or confirmed case of coronavirus (COVID 19) in the workplace.

As part of this plan the Club held a training exercise on 1st  October to test the effectiveness of there planned response to a confirmed case of COVID 19. The exercise involved four members of staff and six members of the General Committee. The objectives of the exercise was to build familiarity with the plan, increase confidence in our ability to respond to a confirmed case and to identify any omissions or short comings in the plan.

The exercise was a success and it helped identify priorities for each of the three sub teams, the Crisis team, the Track and Trace team and the Communications team.  It also gave participants the opportunity to work together in a controlled environment.  A number of lessons were learned and these will be incorporated into the revised response plan.

If anyone would like more information on the exercise or the plan please contact Mike Callander.
