Music Night Success

Over 120 guests joined us for our first Music Night at the Flinders Golf Club on Friday 23rd April. We welcome four amazing, local musicians, who had the crowd singing and swaying along with them all night. 

Janet Vauge, captivated and entertained us with her jazz and blues. We witnessed a medley of Billy Joel, Elton John, The Beatles and Ben Folds from James van Cuylenburg, an accomplished pianist and vocalist. Jay McLean had the room dancing and singing along with him, as he covered some of the great classics and finally Eric van Cuylenburg topped off the night, singing show stoppers and some of his favourite ballads.  

Thank you to Geoff Malkin and Smokey Dawson, for bringing the night together and their band of “Music Men” who assisted in setting up, packing down and spruiking the show all month. The event would not have been possible without you all. 

We have received some excellent feedback about the event and hope to bring another event to members and guests in May. Keep an eye out on the website and newsletter for further information and booking details.
