Member Forum Deferral (Questions and Comments)
Published on 24th September 2021 in Golf News, Local and Member News, Local News, Members NewsUnfortunately, as a result of the restrictions imposed during the current lockdown in Victoria, we will be unable to hold the member forum on Friday 27th August, at which we intended to receive and discuss member feedback on the Governance Review Report.
It remains our intention, however, to hold a face-to-face meeting with members as soon as Covid restrictions permit, and we hope this can be some date in September.
In the meantime, we want to hear back from members as to how they feel about the content of the GRG report as soon as possible, and with this in mind, we have set up a dedicated portal for you to ask questions or make comments.
This may in fact enable us to be better prepared for our Member Forum when it occurs, because it will give you, our members, an opportunity to let us know in detail what you think about the proposed changes recommended in the Governance Report.
Rather than attempting to provide a detailed answer to each of your responses immediately, it is our intention to prepare a summary of member reactions to the report to provide a basis for full discussion when we meet face-to-face. We will, however, acknowledge each and every communication received from members.
