LINDA McKEE KNOCKOUT MATCHPLAY FINAL

Well done to Gaye Wymond and Caroline Vaillant for making the final and putting on an entertaining contest.

At no time was there more than two holes difference, as the lead fluctuated.

Caroline was 2 Up with four holes to play, but Gaye fought back to be all square by the 18th.

Gaye chipped close to the hole, well inside Caroline’s approach.  But a monstrous putt by Caroline ensured they went to the 19^th hole where she was able to secure the victory.

Congratulations Caroline.   The Gallery enjoyed the contest and thank you to Sue Cutten for refereeing.
