Silverspoon Play Off
Published on 4th June 2017 in Past News StoryThe Flinders Silverspoon play off for 2017 will be played in conjunction with the July Monthly Medal. Our 4 players eligible to play are Joan Lawson, Doreen Lyon, Robyn Matthews and Sue Wilson.
The Silverspoon is a state wide women’s event and was first played in 1921 where silver medals were given to each player and a gold medal given to the play-off winner until 1925. Today each player receives a silver spoon and the winner receives a case of six spoons.The winner of our playoff has the opportunity to play at Eastern Golf Club on Monday 13th November.
