Membership & General Information
The bowls club at Flinders was formed by, and remains part of, the Flinders Golf Club. Membership of the Golf Club includes automatic rights to play bowls and croquet, but a specific ‘bowls and croquet only’ membership of the Golf Club is available for those who only want to bowl, costing $125 pa. Members who wish to bowl in Bowls Victoria competitions, such as pennant competition, pay a separate Bowls Victoria fee of $65 collected on their behalf by the Flinders Golf Club and included in the annual subscription notice.

We are a small club with our emphasis being on friendship, participation, and enjoyment.
The club has a beautifully kept grass green set up with 8 rinks. Adjacent is a half croquet court green. The clubhouse includes a bar, and kitchen and BBQ facilities.
Bowling and croquet are offered throughout the season from October to May with many opportunities to play both games. Bowling at pennant level in the Mornington Peninsula Regional Bowls competition is available with 2 teams playing weekly throughout the summer season. Social bowls in both casual and organised tournaments is played. Members can bowl at their own discretion when the green is open and not in use for match play. Croquet is played regularly on an informal basis at Flinders with championship competition matches played elsewhere on the Peninsula.
All skill levels are welcome at the club with some form of competition to suit everyone. Coaching is available from credentialled coaches.
The clubhouse and greens are available to hire for private events and many social events are staged there by both the bowls club and other local groups. Very active bridge clubs play there every week. A film club screens special films once a month.
