Meet The Wine Maker Lunch

The Flinders Golf Club is excited to welcome Richard McIntyre to our Meet the Wine Maker Luncheon on Friday 25th August.
A surgeon whose keen and questioning intellect found fresh challenges in wine making. In 1987 Dr Richard McIntyre fulfilled a dream to make his own wines, made with his own fruit, grown on his own estate.
From a very humble 20 tonne rammed earth winery in the 80’s, they now have a much more fitting winery built in 2006 and their philosophy in everything they do is to make the most of top quality fruit. Intensive, hands-on care in the vineyard, with minimal use of chemicals, producing the best possible fruit for their wines. Wild yeast ferments and minimal intervention wine making, with a nod to traditional Burgundian techniques, allow the wines to express their terroir.

Cost: $45.00 per person
