Bruce Arnot Seniors Trophy

The Golf Committee were wondering whether the event was open to all players or just seniors? As it played out there was no need to wonder as this year’s winner of the event was Byron Woods with a great score of 39 points. Byron who turns 90 later this year joined The Flinders Golf Club over 51 years ago.

Byron is no stranger when it comes to success on the course with his name inscribed on many of our Honour Boards and trophy’s. In 2015 at age 87 Byron won the C Grade Championship in a play off. Keep up the great golfing Byron, we look forward to seeing you around our club for many years to come.
