Congratulation to Kate Fletcher on winning the Medal of Medalist, with a nett score of 73 on Saturday 7th October. Eight of the Ten Monthly Medal Winners also competed in the Medal of Medalist. Sue Gilbert won the Monthly Medal for October with a nett score of 73 on a countback, congratulations Sue.
Hiscock Salver – Entry Form from GPV
Entries are now open for the Hiscock Salver, to be held at Portsea Golf Club on Monday 13th November.
Handicap Matchplay Clinic – Email from GPV
We still have some places available for the Handicap Matchplay Clinic to be held at The National on Thursday October 19. As all the available places have not been filled by the clubs participating in the HCMP season we are now opening up the remaining spots to any clubs that have new or inexperienced players that you feel may benefit from the Clinic that will cover skills and tips pertinent to Handicap Matchplay.
The Clinic is free to women within the District clubs. There will be one session commencing at 9am and a second session at 10.30am. We would like to thank Jo Charlton, our Regional Development Officer for making her time available to pass on skills and tips to improve the standard of Handicap Matchplay within the District and assist in the development of our future Pennant players.
Refreshments will be available for purchase at the counter in the clubhouse before and after the Clinic.
Please advise me of any new or inexperienced players from your club that would like to participate in the Clinic as soon as possible.
