Women’s Pennant Report
Published on 26th February 2019 in Golf News, Local and Member NewsFlinders had a stunning season-starter win, defeating The Dunes 4/3. Having won Second Division last year, the elevation to first Division presented a challenge. However, the Red Caps showed plenty of tenacity to pull off a very exciting win.
Winners on the day were Heather Cameron, Mandy Milledge, Peta Campbell, who did it well with 5/4 and Sue Cutten who was impressive in coming back from being 4 down after 4 holes!
The other matches were very competitive with Angela going to the eighteenth, Kate sixteenth and Mary the seventeenth.
A wonderful start to the season for the Red Caps!
