Congratulations to the weekly winners and those listed in the ball run-downs, nearest to the pins, and a big thank you to all those who have contributed to the toy box for Anglicare.  Two boxes are being delivered to Anglicare this week.

Other things to note: 

• The Southern Golf Club Bowl detail is on the board in the locker room.
• Anne Ford Summer Cup – the first round was played in conjunction with the Monthly Medal.  If you played in the Medal competition you are entered in the Anne Ford Summer Cup.   The second round is Saturday, 11 January, which is also the Monthly Medal. 
• The third round is to be played on Saturday 01 February.  The winner of this competition is the lowest nett score of the 3 rounds.
• Monthly Medal  –  please note that the January Medal is not the first Saturday of the month. Due to the Warrant Officers Cup on this day,  the Medal will be on Saturday, 11 January.
• Forthcoming events  – entries are open for the Summer Cup – played on Tuesdays in January and open to pairs of women, men or mixed.
• Through the haze of Christmas remember to note our Opening day – Thursday 30 January.  Known otherwise as Ruby Nase Day.  More about Ruby another week.
