From the Bowls Club
Published on 18th December 2019 in Social NewsClub Championship finals were played on our fabulous new green on Sunday. In the Men’s, our new young gun Benjamin Wales defeated Club President Hillis Houston in a close match. The Women’s was the battle of the secretaries – Club Secretary Sue Burne defeated Bowls Secretary Kerrin Nelson. Congratulations to both winners.
Both Benjamin and Sue now go on to compete in the Regional Champion of Champions Competition, which begins next weekend.
