Supplementary Conditions of Competition

The St Andrews Trophy is run concurrently with the daily competition and therefore the entry fee is included in the daily competition entry fee.
Entry is through the online booking sheet or through the Proshop.
Member categories eligible to enter are 7 day, Veteran, Super Veteran, Life, Age based, Junior and Flexible.

One round of 4 ball aggregate stableford for men and one round of 4 ball aggregate for women,
Partners are drawn from the booking sheet entries on the day before the event.

In the event of a tie, the result is determined by a count back.
A pair must not play alone. They must have a marker.
The event is played of the blue tee markers for men and the red tee markers for women
The event will be conducted according to the Rules of Golf including the Flinders Golf Club (FGC) General Conditions of Competition and Local Rules. Where the word “Committee” is used in this or any of the Rules documents it will mean the Golf Committee of the FGC whose decisions will be final and binding on all competitors.
Players (or their caddies) must not ride on any form of transportation in this event unless they are over 70 years of age or are able to produce a medical certificate acceptable to the Committee. Any approved transportation is for that purpose only, and if equipped with weather protection shields they must not be used. Penalty statement in FGC General Conditions of Competition applied.

The event is a board event and the winner’s names shall be inscribed on the appropriate Honour Board.
The winning pair will each receive an invitation to the Annual Presentation Lunch.
The Committee reserves the right to amend the event and conditions of play as deemed necessary.
