Supplementary Conditions of Competition

 

1. Entry

  1. The Centenary 4BBB is run concurrently with the club competition and therefore the entry fee is included in the weekly entry fee.

  2. Entry is through the clubs online booking sheet.

  3. Members’ categories eligible to enter are 7 day, Veteran, Super Veteran, Life, Age based, Junior and Flexible

 

2. Format

  1. One round of 4BBB Stableford for men. One round of 4BBB Stableford for women. On the date set out in the Members Calendar of Events.

 

3. Rules

  1. In the event of a tie, the result is determined by a count back.

  2. A pair must not play alone. They must have a marker.

  3. The event shall be played off the Red markers for Women, Blue markers for Men.

  4. The event will be conducted according to the Rules of Golf including the Flinders Golf Club (FGC) General Conditions of Competition and Local Rules. Where the word “Committee” is used in this or any of the Rules documents it will mean the Golf Committee of the FGC whose decisions will be final and binding on all competitors.

  5. Players (or their caddies) must not ride on any form of transportation in this event unless they are over 70 years of age or are able to produce a medical certificate acceptable to the Committee. Any approved transportation is for that purpose, only, and if equipped with weather protection shields they must not be used. Penalty statement in FGC General Conditions of Competition applies.

 

4. General Information

  1. The event is a board event for Men and Women and the winners’ names shall be inscribed on the appropriate Honour Board.

  2. The winners will each receive an invitation to the Club Presentation Night.

  3. The Committee reserves the right to amend the event and conditions of play as deemed necessary.
