Eric Lucas Junior Championship
Published on 10th April 2023 in Local and Member NewsOn Wednesday 12 April, Golf Australia and Golf Peninsula Victoria will be staging the Eric Lucas Junior Championship at Flinders. In conjunction with this event, the Flinders Golf Club has taken this opportunity to also stage the club’s Junior Championship. Flinders juniors Jack Vickers, Harry Tiesdell-Smith, Josh Carter, Louis Williams, Will and James Gregory are all competing in both events.
31 boys and 6 girls under 18 have registered to play. The low marker has a handicap of -1.2 and is only 14 years old. Five players will be off scratch. All girls entered have single figure handicaps. The event starts at 7:43am and the last tee time is 9:40am.
All members and visitors are welcome to walk the fairways with these young golfers. Who knows you may witness a champion golfer of the future!
