Have you played at any reciprocal clubs?

One of the surprising perks of membership is the extended reciprocal arrangements that Chris and the team have secured. Our Women’s President had a trip up to Murray Downs, in early July. Murray Downs is just over the border from Swan Hill. Once a magnificent pastoral property, it is now a beautiful golf course.  Because of our reciprocal rights as FGC members, the green fees are only $25, half price. It is a really lovely trip up to the Murray, something you should aim to do as soon as we can, hopefully in the Spring. You can stay and dine at the Murray Downs resort but we would recommend a coffee or lunch at Spoons Riverside in Swan Hill, a really charming spot looking over the Murray River.

And when you are next in London, please note that Stoke Park is also a Reciprocal, heftier green fees, but at half price. It is a stunning course not far from Heathrow airport, built on the grounds of a former private estate with a garden designed by famous 1700s English landscape architect, Capability Brown.

Feedback from those we know who have played, is that it is fabulous all round.  Something to dream about!
