Masters Pennant Wrap Up

Unfortunately the three teams Flinders Golf Club entered for the annual Masters Pennant season, failed to make the finals. All Captains thank those members who participated and look forward to the 2018 season.

Flinders Blue had to defeat Mornington at Mornington to perhaps get a crack at the finals. We finishing the day with a 6/1 lost. Bob Wilson, who gave away 3 shots on the day, was our only winner. Well done Bob. Thanks to Peter (PK) Williams on calling for this squad after ill heath forced Captain Gerdsen to retire from the competition. 

Flinders Gold, under the expertise of Captain Stevenson won 2 matches overall and lost to Mornington in the last round 2/5.

Captain Scoffern steered Flinders Green to a memorable 5/2 victory over Cape Schank at home last Friday. 3 very close encounters, losing 3/4 robbed this squad of a certain final appearance.
