Women’s Stableford Shield 2026 – Results

The Women’s Stableford Shield was introduced during the captaincy of Colleen Martin, providing Thursday and provisional members the opportunity to compete for a significant club honour. It remains an important fixture on the club calendar.
About the Competition
The Shield is contested as an individual Stableford event, with the winner determined by the best aggregate score from two of the three rounds. Players were not required to compete in all three rounds to be eligible.

The final top five on the leaderboard were:

Karen Waterson – 75
Caroline Young – 73
Robyn Matthews – 73
Linda Dooley – 73
With very close scoring at the top of the leaderboard, the competition was keenly contested across all rounds.

Congratulations to Glenys Greenwood & Karen Waterson who will now have a playoff to determine the Women’s Stableford Shield. This will be held over the coming weeks. The best stableford score on the day between these two women will determine the winner.
